En revanche, la recherche d'éventuelles similarités entre le Néolithique précéramique chypriote et le PPNB du Levant dans ce que ce dernier a de plus caractéristique: architecture, industrie lithique, pratiques funéraires, figurines, conduit à conclure à l'originalité du Néolithique précéramique chypriote.
