résumé eng
The article is devoted to the comparative method of studying the Greek colonizing process. Having compared different territories, developed by the Greeks, the author comes to the conclusion that one of the phenomena both in the Black Sea littoral and in South Italy was the Greek farm or a simple country estate which belong to one family (oikos). Such kind of buildings appeared in Balkan Greece and in colonies. The author also touches upon the problem of contacts between the Greeks and the barbarians. In her opinion the main way of studying the outlying Greek world is comparing different areas, inhabited by the Greeks.
