Notes bibliogr. Bibliogr. p. 928
The author re-publishes two neglected funerary inscriptions (Mordtmann 1880, no. 2 and 3) not included in the corpora ISMII and VI.2. They date to the Hellenistic period and prove that another tomb stone (ISMII 456 from the first half of the fourth century BC) is not an isolated piece. Although a less developed polis, Tomis produced, therefore, inscriptions even before ca. 100 BC, when several public inscriptions are attested.
